Alvin is a dedicated educator and researcher passionate about advancing Education for Sustainability through innovative curriculum design and experiential learning. As a Ph.D. candidate in Curriculum Studies at Western University, Canada, his research explores the implementation of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) in Ontario K–8 classrooms.
With a strong academic foundation that includes a Master of Education (Summa Cum Laude) and a Bachelor of Education (Honours) from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, Alvin's work bridges theory and practice to promote transformative learning experiences.
